Tune in to our special adoption ceremonies Friday

It’s about that time for kids to return to school, and these nine kids will go with new last names.

Friday is our Back-to-School adoption day, an idea from Hamilton County Probate Court Judge Ralph Winkler. We usually partner with his court to do a National Adoption Day event in November where many kids join their families. But he came up with this summer adoption idea because he wanted to give kids the chance to return to school with their new last names instead of having to change their names later.

Starting with ceremonies at 9 a.m., nine kids will join five families. Congratulations to Tiahna, Xander, Ace, Max, Shamia, Keyilah, Keyarie, Aireonna, Kayla and their parents.
