Thank you to all who helped bring Christmas to our older kids

Every year, we have more kids to serve and every year, the community steps up.

We held our annual holiday party last night for teens in Independent Living. It was a great time thanks to so many donors and volunteers. Our teens who are transitioning to life on their own left with so many items off their wish lists. It was really fun.

Our thanks to so many people – Amber Gray and her Where2Next Foundation; Hope Ware; Vestal Simms of Talbert House, who was an awesome DJ; Heidi Yocum; Southern Treats Sweetery for the cutest desserts we’ve ever seen; Pastor Don Wilson and Wanda Meriwether from Gaines United Methodist Church for their congregation’s gift donations; and to LaRosa’s.

To Cincinnati public relations guru Julie Phillippi Whitney – we thank you for generating so many generous friends who donated gifts. We could not have done this without you and your contact list!

A special thank you also to Vesta Cox and Peoples Church for their space, which is big enough for us to grow more.

Thank you to our employees who helped as well – Chris Landon, Val Prevish, Laura Clifton, Johnna Roark, Ashley Pelfrey, Brian Gregg, Fermon Williams, Bobby Thompson and Sheila Bass.
