Can you help Makaylah pursue her dream of becoming a surgeon?
Makaylah had already completed two years at the University of Cincinnati before she graduated in 2018 from Norwood High School. We honored her at our annual Celebration of Dreams for high school graduates.
As she continues to pursue her dream of becoming a cardio thoracic surgeon, she has an opportunity to study in Spain for a semester, but needs some financial help to get there. She wants to go because she plans to focus on caring for Hispanic people.
She needs $7,000, but $1,300 already has been raised through donations to One Simple Wish, a charity that helps kids in foster care. That agency’s Experience Wish Fund is contributing $2,500 more.
